The Brits have been issuing excellent TV ads for motorcycle safety over the years. Witness {link} and {link}. Now, the Transport for London have released their TV ad promoting motorcycle safety.
The ad, as usual well done, is two-edged ! On one side, it tells us bikers not to take things for granted, ie, just because you're doing a routine ride, it will not mean that things can not go horribly wrong.
On the other side, it tells car drivers that simple actions like opening a door can have lethal results.
Excellent ! We should have many more like these. It's nice to see that governments don't always need to be hassling motorcycle riders !
