Here's an interesting and novel idea. You can have personalized messages scroll on your motorcycle license plate holder using LED technology.
You can program up to four different messages which will scroll on the plate using LEDs. So you can imagine when a cage is too close behind you, you scroll "BACK OFF PLEASE!", and then when the cage moves further behind you, send "THANK YOU!".
Then off course you can send a more explicit message if the cage doesn't, but then you'd better scram....
The LED's also function as a brake light, so when you brake, all LEDs light up.
According to the web site, the plate should fit most American motorcycle plates.
