The Mayor of Paris is anti-motorcycle ! He and his council have been plotting for years now on how to get rid of motorcycles in the city capital. Recently, Bertrand Delanoe was quoted that "motorcycle pollute between 3 and 122 more than a car !!!!".
Hence, he has decided that on high pollution days, when cars can only come into the capital city on alternate days (depending on the last digit of your license plate - odd or even), that motorcycles will need to follow the same rule. In the past, motorcycles were exempt. No longer !! Now, if there's a high level of pollution, your ride needs to stay at home and you need to take public transportation - which is always on strike !!
Who voted this asswipe in ??? He still will not understand a thing or two about motorcycles and traffic jams !! While he speeds through the city in his limo, escorted by police motorcycles, we'll be walking..... no wonder I left Paris to settle in Normandy. Maybe one day there'll be no-one living or working in the city.. then he'll be happy !!
