Motorcycle manufacturer, Ducati Italy, has teamed up with Autogrill, the highway rest stop company, to offer motorcyclists riding the autostradas a biker dedicated rest stop !!
So now, when travelling on the A1 between Bologna and Milano, you have 2 Autogrills where there is a biker corner. As a Ducati motorcyclist, you also get 10% discount on the food served at the Ciao restaurant/grill..
I think this is a great idea, and would love to see this copied in other European countries. If you're forced to take to the motorways/autoroutes, then why not make it a bit more fun for us bikers? It might even move more motorcyclists to use motorways.... as long as it's not limited to Ducati.
