Authorities in Vietnam are worried! They are worried because of the high number of motorcycles accidents that occur in their principle cities. Therefore, they have decided, in their infinitive wisdom, to ban any new motorcycle registrations !
Since the cities are heavily congested, and motorcycles are a cheap form of transport, Vietnam counts 10 million registered motorcycles, for 80 million inhabitants !
The deadline for this new law is 1st of September, so the police stations are currently flooded with requests for a new registration.
I hope this doesn't catch on here in Europe!!
