I fully support women riding motorcycles. The more the better for our common passion. It used to be that motorcycles was a macho thing; you needed a mustache, tattoo and scar to ride a motorcycle.....
Today, the image of motorcycles and their riders is slowly changing, and one of the main reasons is the fact that more and more women have started riding their own bikes. And not just small motorcycles; often big and fast, or dirty off-road machines. The more the image changes, the more motorcycles become accepted by civilians. And therefore, the easier it is for us, the motorcycle riders.
If you check the Motorcycle Blogger Database in the above Specials Menu, you'll see that many of the bloggers are women.
Here's a website that's dedicated to female motorcyclists; Lady Biker ! Lady Biker is a worldwide base of women who ride motorcycles. All types of motorcycles are categorized; adventure, racing, touring, off road, cruisers and even trikes.
The ladies come from all over the world. You'll find fellow motorcycle blogger Carla King (from Motorcycle Misadventures) there. There's a discussion forum, and each girl has their own specific page with information and photo(s). Many have their own websites, whose links can be found in this website.
