Once upon a time, in a country far away (United Kingdom) lived a motorcycle manufacturer (or as they say, a motorbike manufacturer). The motorcycle manufacturer built very pretty motorcycles under the name of Royal Enfield. They had been doing this since the turn of the century (1900). Their Royal motto was "Made like a gun" The Royal Enfields were very much loved motorcycles. It won many tournaments (races) until the fateful day when the three dragon sisters from the East;- Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki invaded the fragile territory of Royal Enfield, causing it to crash and burn. Royal Enfield fled to a far away country, namely India and continued its good work there for the local population. And slowly the old motorcycle manufacturer got stronger and stronger every day, until it decided to re-conquer its old country. It started way back in 1999 when a company started importing the Indian made Royal Enfield motorcycles. And today (well, last month) they announced their heir, the new crown prince, the Royal Enfield Bullet Electra T motorcycle ! The Bullet Electra T come from royal blood; with an all-aluminium 500 cc single cylinder engine it takes the head of their line up. Equipped with an electric starter, 5-speed gearbox and gas filled rear dampers. The ensure that the motorcycle can ride off-road, it's fitted with Continental TKC 80 rally tires. With speeds of up to 78 mph it offers a fuel consumption of 87.5 mpg, something that will ease the pain of the current fuel prices. Priced at around £ 4,000, you can have any choice of color as long as it's silver. And they lived happily ever after .... Click here to access the Indian site of Royal Enfield.
