The 1st Ironbutt Motorcycle Rally Photos 14 September 2005   File under  Racing   Author: Mike Werner   Location: Normandy, France For those of you who don't follow the Adventure Rider discussion forum, there's a great thread about the very first Ironbutt motorcycle rally. The person who started the thread, worked at the motorcycle dealer hosting the first event, and he took some amazing photos. Compare the motorcycles from the 80's and compare them with today's motorcycles. No GPS, satellite tracking, XM radio, mobile telephone, gel pads for the seats,...etc.etc. Just a few hard men and their motorcycles embarking on a very long journey.
