Click here to read a complete and detailed review of the SportVue Heads Up Display

SportVue MC1 HUD Display
Motion Research in the USA are launching SportVue MC1, a real Heads Up Display (HUD) for motorcycle helmets !! The unit connects to your motorcycle via a wireless interface, and displays onto your helmet's visor relevant information such as RPM, gear selected and speed.

The information is displayed on the upper part of your visor, and its transparent, so you can still see through the visor.

SportVeu MC1 HUD Helmet Mount
The wireless display unit is mounted onto your helmet and is powered by AAA batteries.

A future version will include navigation information coming from a GPS. This is very interesting, since it allows you to monitor your motorcycle data while maintaining a view of the road.

Now to mount it on a Reevu helmet (the one with integrated mirror system {link} ), with the Motorola BlueTooth Telephone interface {link} and a sidecar to carry all the batteries....  ;-)

Seriously, this sounds very interesting (specially a GPS interface). Cost: US$ 329.00 Available October 2004.
