If you've always wanted to compete in the mythical Dakar rally, but never had the money or logistic know-how, here's your chance ! French tire organization, Euromaster, have a professional motorcycle team in the Dakar.
Their four riders are some of the top ones. Euromaster are offering you the opportunity of a life-time to be the fifth rider in their team. This is you chance to ride with Gilles Algay (45th), Eric Piroud (30th), Eric Croquelois (DNF) and the luscious and talented Ludivine Puy (97th).
The rules state that you must have had your motorcycle license for at least 2 years, licensed with the FFM (French Motorcycle Federation), never have raced in the Dakar before, and currently not registered do ride the Dakar. They don't state that you need to be French or speak French, but I'd venture to say that you'll need to be able to speak pretty good French...
The short-list of candidates (15) will be tested on a circuit by their judges, and you'll be judged on navigation, mechanics, physical condition and riding abilities.
