The German motorcycle magazine Motorrad Aktuell has published on its front page a decent photo of the soon-to-be-announced BMW R1200GS. This photo seems to be much more in line with what we'll actually see, since it's not a spy photo.
I've had to clean up the photo you see on your left, so you'll see some stripes here and there.
It would seem that BMW is getting ready to show the world the new bike.
Here's the latest photo. It's of the new dashboard on the R1200GS. They've changed the layout, added a larger LCD display and put the rpm counter angled above, so that when you're off-road you can still see the display when standing up. Not a bad thought.
(For your Information; all searches that end up on this site are captured. I can see what is being searched for. The BMW R1200GS represents 50% of the total number of searches, 2nd at 10% is the Milan Motorcycles show and 3rd at 8% is the Yamaha Fazer. So apparently there are many folks out there that are interested in the new BMW).
