Here's an interesting course for English speaking motorcycle riders who want to learn advanced riding skills while enjoying the open roads in France. RN20 is organizing in 2006 a complete package for English-speaking motorcyclists in France.
The package includes accommodation in their 19th century barn (with spacious double rooms, communal TV room etc), and breakfast and diner at the farm.
Their standard course lasts 5 days and is based on the Road Craft system as used by the British Police and ROSPA. All aspects of advanced motorcycling are covered in this course including planning, positioning, observation, cornering, braking, defensive riding and more… Each day starts with a theory session followed by riding in the excellent French countryside.
RN20 is based in Limousin, which is in central France. The tariff is reasonable. For £690 (€1015) you get the ferry crossing from the UK to France, 6 nights accommodation and half board, instruction (maximum 3 students) and a NAAMI certificate.
