BMW R1200GS Adventurer Motorcycle Breaks Cover ? 26 September 2005   File under  BMW New Products   Author: Mike Werner   Location: Normandy, France This could very well be the next Adventurer model of the successful BMW R1200GS motorcycle. BMW always produce an Adventure model of their dual-purpose motorcycle, and the R1200GS will not be exempt. The Adventure model is usually heavier than it's sister, but is meant for long distance adventure riding. The expected R1200GSA has as basis not the normal R1200GS, but the R1200GS-HP2, BMW's super enduro motorcycle. The expected weight is 300 kg and over 100 horses. To loose weight, BMW have gotten rid of the telelever. This motorcycle, we hope, will be launched in the Paris Motorcycle Show at the end of this week. If so, I'll publish photos that same day.
