Looks like Asia is not the place to be if you're a motorcycle thief. Or even just a suspected one. If you look suspicious, you're dead meat. It's not the first time that this happened in Asia {link}....
Barasat: Five persons, suspected to be motorcycle lifters, were lynched in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district on Sunday, a senior police official said.
Additional superintendent of police Dilip Banerjee said that angry villagers had caught hold of five persons roaming suspiciously at Boira Bamongachi and, suspecting them to be motorcycle lifters, lynched them.
Senior police officials have rushed to the spot and investigations were on, Banerjee said. |
Anybody who's had their motorcycle stolen will know how these folks feel.....
