  Author: Mike Werner
  Location: Normandy, France

Just finished reading Ron Ayres 2nd book (the first one being Against The Wind) called "Against The Clock".

Ron, a long distance/endurance motorcycle rider, broke the Guinness record by riding through 49 States in the USA in 7 days (49/7), beating the previous 48/6 record.

In this book, he details his account of the ride itself, but more importantly, he makes it very clear that such a record breaking attempt can only be accomplished with the help of many people, and more importantly, with a lot of help of the Internet !

The book itself, though well written, is not as good as his previous one, but if you are into long distance riding, then it's a good rainy afternoon read !
