Are you one of those folks that has always admired the old, prewar II, BMWs and sidecar, but could never be bother restoring one ?? Well, here's your chance. A Chinese company called Chiang-Jian produces new versions (replicas) of these old motorcycles (plus other types). Based on the popular BMW R71, they have produced a boxer engine replica named Chiang-Jiang 750 M1 Super. It is a 750 cc, 32 hp air-cooled engine capable of running up to 90 kph.
It looks like the real thing. You can get it with a kick starter, or with an electric started. All part work like the real thing. They just don't supply the machine gun for the passenger, but I guess that shouldn't be to difficult to mount yourself.... The folks at Chiang-Jiang also produce replicas of the old Jawa 353 motorcycles, the Dong Tian 750 Tricycle (the passenger/cargo carrier seen in the far east), mini bikes and even the good old Solex.
