 German car and motorcycle manufacturer BMW has added an enormous database to their website. This database contains a wealth of information about BMW's past; -products, -people, -correspondence and other interesting facts. The site is called the BMW Historical Archives. You can retrieve old black & white or color photos of old motorcycles, technical notices, brochures and even correspondence. Or are you interested in an old race event ? 1931 Christmas Card (c) BMW | The site has quite a sophisticated search engine, and you can search for people, files, photos, other media and products. You can also search easily via their predefined groups, Cars, Motorcycles, Aircraft Engines and Racing. The search and retrieval is free ! All you need to do is register. Specific content can be ordered in true size and high quality print. The interesting part is that if you're looking at a specific model, all related documents can also be seen, like the important people that were related to that product, correspondence, press releases, brochures, technical info, etc. Truly a wealth of information for the BMW fan.
