This is new to me. I don't think you'll see this at the 2004 Olympics, but it is a motorcycle competition you don't normally see everyday. It's the World Championship Precision Motorcycle Riding, consisting of several teams performing figures while riding in synch. It's a bit like the red arrows/blue angels but without having to get cramps in your neck. The championships were held Aug. 31 through Sept. 2, 2001 at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in Springfield, Mo, USA. The teams must ride 5 mandatory maneuvers, and can perform 10 other optional moves. The teams have a maximum of 10 minutes and a minimum of 5 minutes to perform their "acrobatics". The teams are judged on the following: - Ease of Handling: Did it look smooth
- Interval and Distance: Where they riding nicely spaced
- Variety: How many of the optional moves did they do
- Execution: How well did they do the maneuvres
- Compulsories: Did the team do the prescribed moves?
