BMW R1200GS
English motorcycle magazine, MotorCycle News (MCN), have published today two more spy photos of the up and coming BMW R1200GS motorcycle.

According to MCN, the frame has changed from the exiting style in to a more "Ducati" style, the boxer engine is a complete redesign from the ground up (and increased to 1200 cc), BMW is using the next generation paralever, and the weight has dropped 30 kilos.

BMW plan to launch three models (hopefully in the press by December of this year)

BMW R1200GS
  • Standard GS
  • Adventurer
  • Sports (supermotard style)

The dealer launch is planned for Jan/Feb 2004 in South Africa. The GS will not be the only bike launched there, but it will be the most important one, specially since it's the most sold BMW motorcycle in many countries.
