If you have a motorcycle produced between 1928 and 2005, go to the website below, enter the last 7 digits of your VIN (Vehicle Id Number, ie, serial number) and press Submit Query.
Although in German, the system will tell you when your motorcycle was built (so you'll know how long it was sitting at the dealer before you bought it), and where it was built.
Wouldn't it be fun if you could see photos of the folks who actually manufacturer your motorcycle ???
