Australian Motorcyclists Up In Arms 29 October 2004   File under  News Protests   Author: Mike Werner   Location: Normandy, France Australian Motorcyclists are having a protest ride! The reason: In Melbourne, a woman car driver, while totally drunk, drove on the wrong side of the road and killed a motorcyclist. She didn't even notice it. She arrived home with dents, blood and pieces of flesh on her car. Obviously she got arrested, and when she faced the judge, he allowed her to continue driving her car to work !! The judge must be a relative, or doesn't like bikers ! So it seems to be OK in Australia to kill a motorcyclist : If ever there was a good reason for a protest ride, this is it!!
