This is a paid for review: A new force in the internet has started recently. Google ads have made the internet more powerful thanks to their small text ads. It has made it possible for sites like ours to remain alive. Bandwidth and hosting costs, and all other costly items would have stopped us years ago. It's only thanks to ads revenue that we can maintain a reasonable level of entertainment. If not, the only alternative is a paid-for subscription site, something I refuse to do. For me, the internet should be free. That's why the new service, ReviewMe.com, is a breath of fresh air for us poor bloggers. Reviewme.com functions as a clearinghouse between blog sites and companies with products. They'll get companies to pay for a product review on one of the blog sites that have subscribed. The website that is reviewing the product must state that the review has been paid for, AND, we can write as honest as we want, since there is absolutely no rule to write positive articles ! So, our integrity remains, while we make a few bucks (usually something like $20, enough to get some Gb of bandwidth). Obviously, we'll not be reviewing the latest washing powder, or laxative, but only motorcycle related products. Personally, I think it'll be a win-win situation; readers will be exposed to new products (companies are not going to pay for old products), companies get a good exposure to their products and us bloggers make a buck or two. And ReviewMe.com makes it possible for all to be happy ! Thanks for the tip to Jesper at HelmetHairBlog.com
