Well, I arrived very tired after taking the night train from Paris to Milan. Here's a tip for you... if you're 1m90+ (6 feet 2), don't take a sleeper train, since the beds don't fit. And with all the moving and noises, I didn't sleep a single wink. Arrived at 07:00 in the morning, checked in the hotel at 08:00, to find out that they don't have internet, as promised on their web site. What they meant, was that the hotel is on the internet ..... feckers !
Anyway, arrived at EICMA's very professional press center, with wired and wireless internet, tech support to help us poor folks with plugs etc. Nice setup (and free lunch).
I took a walk through the exhibition center (which I'm not supposed to do). here's what it looked like some 18 hours before the exhibition opens officially (4 photos):
I guess some folks will not go to bed tonight, but I already know that by opening tomorrow, the stands will be done perfectly, the young ladies sexy and smiling, the motorcycles gleaming and the stands busy.
Even the mighty Honda doesn't have everything ready.
Tonight, at 19:00 is the Ducati presentation.
