When I arrived at Aprilia, they had several motorcycles under wraps. They also had their management under wraps, since they started 20 late, moving all press conferences up. It was one of the worst press gatherings seen so far....
The Aprilia secret....
So far, most conferences were mostly press people, and some walk-ins. The Aprilia one was 95% people from other stands, their children and people who managed to get in without paying/showing a badge. So it was very difficult to make proper photos, since most people were in front...
The first motorcycle they released, was the Aprilia Mana 850.
Since the speech was in Italian, and the sound was bad, I can't say anything until I've read the press releases. But, it's an 850 engine... ;-)
The top of the tank allows for storage, which would seem like a helmet, but don't hold me on this..
Their other new motorcycle is the Shiver 750.
The Shiver does look quite interesting.
The rear of the Shiver has two dual exhausts. More later...
The last thing they introduced was a new V 4, 65° engine, with 999 cc displacement, giving a total of 210+ hp !!!

did you say Shiver or Shiva? ;) shiver, why not frost, or ice cube, how about just calling he damn thing ICE COLD BEER.

Alright, the Shiver looks sort of good, but it still has a kind of cheap starship enterprise look to it. Can't really put a finger on it, maybe it's the silver color combined with the mufflers that looks like they're inspired by Dame Edna's glasses. But the idea of a 750cc V-twin naked bike does make you drool a bit don't it.
