The newly announced Yamaha 450 WRF 2-Trac, the two wheel drive motorcycle to be sold next year commercially by Yamaha, is has been entered in to the Paris-Dakar race by David Fretigne .
David is the current French champion Enduro and 3 times World Champion ISDE. He recently tested the all wheel drive Yamaha in the Shamrock rally, and ended winning the race (in front of two other 450WRFs).
David Fretigne and Yamaha are so pleased with the new motorcycle, that they have decided to enter both in the Paris-Dakar race. It will be the first time for both rider and motorcycle to compete in this race.
