French motorcycle website Moto-Station managed a scoop by "getting" the latest official photos of the new BMW R1200RT and R1200ST motorcycles. The article is in French, but in short they say the following: BMW R1200RT Following in the tradition of the R1200GS, more horses and less weight: -110 b.h.p. -Torque of 11.7 daN.m -Dry weight of 229 kilos -Fully loaded weight of 260 Kgs (compared to 279 for the R1150RT) The BMW R1200RT will replace BMW's successful line of RT motorcycles (as seen in use by many of the world's police forces and emergency units). It is BMW most sold motorcycle. BMW R1200ST -110 b.h.p. -Torque of 11.7 daN.m -Dry weight of 204 Kgs -Fully loaded weight of 237 Kgs (compared with 250 Kgs for the R1150RS) Moto-Station further have some photos of the R1200S which they claim is to be sold around 2006. Personally, I'm still waiting for the Adventure version of the R1200GS..... Click here to read the article and see many more photos (article is in French).
