Spanish motorcycle manufacturer, Derbi, presented two prototypes at the EICMA motorcycle show. The first one, X-Vision, was reported on earlier {link}. The 2nd prototype is made like an American bike.

With a name like Hot Bob, you can expect anything. And you will not be disappointed..

Derbi Mulhacen 659 Hot Bob

According to Derbi, the Mulhacen is a motorcycle with a great potential for reinterpretation. The creators at Derbi Lab, conscious of this privileged condition lost no opportunity to take things to the max: customize a scrambler.

Hot Bob was born. Chromed chassis and counterweight, and many more details in its mechanics; the matt black coloring of the crankcase makes it a more “American” bike, also thanks to the more inclined forks and lower rear suspension.

You'd almost expect while riding down a California highway to see someone like Marlon Brando riding this motorcycle to pass you by.

Meanwhile its exotic matt green coloring and real-looking flames contrast and surprise. The motorcycle itself looks robust.

    Hot Bob

Well, I have loved the styling of the Derbi in the past, and this one takes it too steps farther. I love it when paint jobs are laid out in hte dark by people on LSD. I gotta have one.

Very nice lines on that bike. I thought those wheels looked kind of big, 18", nice. 650cc single cylinder engine 165kg's. Sounds like a killer combination. It's probably to expensive for its narrow use, but if what you want is a rare bike to scoot around for giggles, I bet you'll have a hard time wiping the smile of your face on this motorcycle.
