Speed On Two Wheels is a very interesting look at the world of high speed motorcycles, but it's not only for those of you who like seeing (or doing) a motorcycle run at the speed of light. This full length documentary (59 minutes) also takes you through the basics of motorcycle riding; counter steering, gyroscopic effects, tire behaviors, etc. It always nice to hear an expert explain things to you, specially when there are some good animations to go side-by-side. Never assume that you know it all.... The video shows you the world of super- and sport bike riders in the USA, notably the Hayden brothers, Mat Madlin and Aaron Yates. The really nice part is that they don't show them exclusively... that would make it quite boring. They actually show you the BMW and Ducati museums, the Ducati factory and the Kawasaki race team "factory" in California. So the video alternates between high speed sport motorcycles, and the "normal" world of bikes. The video also takes you behind the scenes at a motorcycle riding school. Personally, I really enjoyed the video. It's a must for any serious motorcycle rider, whether you're in the USA, Europe, Asia or on Mars. Price: US$ 24.95. Click here to order it (you can still get it for Christmas...)
