BMW motorcycles have launched their new Police/Military motorcycle, the R1200RT-P, at the Paris Internal State Security exhibition, the MILIPOL. The Administration's RT has been designed specifically to permit Law Enforcement and Military personnel to fulfill their tasks. With it's 27 liters gas tank, the motorcycle can ride longer than before. Additionally, the special side and top cases can be opened without a key, and can be opened with one hand while sitting on the motorcycle. BMW have been supplying motorcycles to the administrations in many countries since 1928. It's just a bit ironic that BMW launch their Police motorcycle in an exhibition in France, when they've just lost the lucrative order for the Gendarme motorcycles to Yamaha.
