Yes, you read it right, a four wheel Ducati was presented at the EICMA motorcycle exhibition in Milan Italy. It's a Ducati, but not THAT Ducati. It's from Ducati Energia. They are a supplier of electronic components to, amongst others...., you guessed it...., the REAL Ducati. I wonder if there's any relationship, since they're both in the same city... The "contraption" is a two seater, four wheel vehicle, powered by a Ducati engine (but which Ducati ?). Unfortunately I can't tell you much more, since the people on the stand where far too busy amongst themselves to come over and give me any information, nor was there any information to be found on their stand. A bit strange, since it's not cheap to exhibit at EICMA. Inside, there's no steering wheel, but a yoke kind of device, which you turn left and right. There seems to be no gear, unless they're electronically controlled from the yoke. The side is made out of plastic, so I'd have to presume it can be removed for the sunny days. It almost looks like a golf cart.... wouldn't you love to have a Ducati on the golf course ....for the rest, I'd have no clue what the use of this device would be... Now.. wasn't that a really bad piece of journalism ???
