Now that the winter has really struck (we just got snow here in Normandy: Unheard of in November), and there's no more Valentino Rossi in the MotoGP to follow (although he did race last weekend in Rally cars in Monza Rally, ending 2nd), then Icespeedway racing is a nice alternative.
Next month sees the 30th year of ice racing start again. This has always been fascinating me, since it takes sheer guts to ride one of those motorcycles. Problem here in France is that it's not that popular. Some TV stations do show highlights once in a while, but no proper coverage. Who knows, maybe one of these days...
