Anti-Greenlaning Law Repealed In France ? |

First victory for French motorcycles who like to go off road (like me). The greenies had proposed a dramatic law forbidding all motorcycles (and other vehicles) from riding off-road, through forests and mountains. The proposed law, made it totally impossible to even take a small country lane used by tractors and such.
Through lobby groups such as Codever the affair was taken to the highest authorities of the country, the State Consultative agency (Conseil d’Etat ). They have deemed that the proposed laws are without merit on several points ! The ruling still is not official, and needs to go through several other steps, but it's promising.
The other "nice" points is that the unit that proposed the laws have been condemned to paying legal fees !!
How sweet this victory, now to win the battle !
