Here's an interesting video demonstration, in Dutch, of an airbag on a motorcycle. It shows motorcycle crashes from different angles (the motorcycle crash into a car at different angles), with and without an airbag.
The video is actually from the British Safety Foundation, made in the 90's. It involves riding the motorcycle at 50 kph into a car.
Halfway the video, a joker has put another type of airbag, just wait it out...
