It's designs like this that really turn me on. You just got to have thought of it ! Spanish motorcycle lock manufacturer, Luma, have released a very innovative disc lock for your motorcycle.
On it's own, there's not much you can do to design for a disc lock.... is there ??? I mean a disc lock is a disc lock. Well, you're wrong if you though that. Luma have produced the XMART. The XMART motorcycle disc lock REPLACES your foot-peg ! Now, you don't have to carry the disc lock in your top case, or attached to your motorcycle somewhere (and hear the clunking). You arrive at your destination, take off your foot-peg, and attach the foot-peg/disc lock to your motorcycle wheel.
It serves two purposes, a) the disc lock is sturdy and very difficult to take off your motorcycle wheel and b) if they do cut the lock, they still don't have a foot peg, so the motorcycle becomes very difficult to ride.
As for the foot-peg, it has (1) a rubber surface to enhance your riding comfort (less vibrations),(2) an anti-dirt and anti-humidity cover, (3) an enhanced grip thanks to notched connection, (4) high security 10 disc lock system with reversible key.
The system fits most Yamaha, Honda, BMW, Ducati, Suzuki and Kawasaki motorcycles. A list of models is displayed on their website. You'll also find the fitting instructions there.
