If you're like me, you'll be starting to plan your 2006 holidays already. Here's a tip for those of you who like motorcross and want to get better at it, or if you've got kids you want to teach the pleasures of off-road riding. French circuit owner, Moto Paul Racing, has a very large circuit ready made for holidays. With its 700 hectares (1729 acres) of land, they have 1 motorcross circuit built to USA norms, one for European norms, a pit bike circuit, 3 circuits for kids aged 6 to 13, one 68 kms circuit for enduro (motorcycles or quad) and one circuit for rally cars. They even have a landing strip for private airplanes. To make life easier, they have their own hotel complex. 107 rooms, with private shower, heated swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, football (soccer) fields, basketball and volley fields, ping pong tables, pool/billiard tables, sauna and even a golf pitch. The panoramic view restaurant seats 200 people. The circuit is located Boussens, about 65 km South of Toulouse, at the foot of the Pyrenees mountains (South of France). Not only do the kids have the possibility to learn motocross, but there are also leisure activities for kids. All this under the watchful eyes of trained staff. The center itself is run by Paul Olivier, 3rd in the Paris-Dakar 2004 race Cat 3-2-1. And if you're planning to go on your own holiday, and don't know what to do with your kids, they'll pick them up from Paris (or Marseille) and look after them while you do your own thing. All staff are certified for motorcycle sports or for looking after children. Children are only accepted during the school holidays, the rest of the time is for grown-ups, either individuals, groups or company events. The normal instruction language is French, but on request, they'll do it in Spanish or English. It'll cost you about € 650 for a kid (age 6-17) for one week, including meals. More pricing options are available on their website. Click here to access their website. (French only- At startup, the video will start playing. I strongly suggest you watch it!)
