A few years ago, and the only motorcycles you could see in China were small displacement two-stroke bikes that had over seven digits on the odometer and at least 4 decades of riding.
Some even were there during the time the "Chairman  " reigned the roost. Smoke, sound and a lot of maintenance... those were the days.
But we knew that this was not going to remain. Nothing endures as much as change... wise words.
But things have changed, and changed they have, radically. Today, you'll find glitsy motorcycle shops belonging to the likes of Harley-Davidson, BMW, Ducati, and now Italian manufacturer Benelli have opened their 3rd flagship shop.
After being a hit in Beijing and Shanghai, Benelli opened their 3rd dealer in JiNan.
China is a rapid developing market for Benelli (and the others), and in the next 12 months, Benelli will open 4 more shops. The new capitalists communists are buying all luxury products like never before, and that can only be good for us.
It's good to see at least one area for growth...
