It's no surprise that Harley-Davidson motorcycles has a big budget for advertising. We've seen many, good and bad, TV ads from the Milwaukee based company. But they don't just place ads on the TV. There are very few motorcycle magazines you can open that don't have a Harley ad. Or riding along, you'll see billboards all over the place.
Here are 18 of the better ones I've found around the world.
Switzerland
Done by Advico  Young & Rubicam, this is a series entitled ESCAPE. It's based on you riding away on your Harley, escaping whatever you see in your mirrors.
Canada
From the Wax agency, here's a nice ad called WOLF from Harley Calgary.
UK
From McCann Erickson Central comes this cool ad BABY IN GARAGE.
South Africa
From Ogilvy South Africa comes the VETERAN ad.
France
From the Euro RSCG C&O agency comes this cool ad, COMPUTER VIEW (notice the two mouse), followed by SHACKLES..
Brazil
This SIGN ad from Loducca 22 is a sign placed above on streets in Sao Paulo, showing the distance to cities far away. Very effective.
From Giovanni FCB come these two ads, LEGS and BIKE FALL.
Germany
From Springer & Jacoby comes the FREEDOM ad.
Spain
From McCann Erikson Spain comes this ad entitled MOTORIST, but it's not from Harley, it's from L'Oreal for their perfumes.
Maybe if there's demand for it, I'll show the worst ones...
