24 Hours of Le Mans Motorcycle Rest Stops

As usual, whenever there's a big motorcycle event in France, the government and the French motorcycle federation, FFMC, organize special motorcycle rest stops along the way to the event. This year is not different, there are many stops where you can get your motorcycle checked, your visors cleaned, your tire pressure adjusted, or where you can get a bite or drink. It's also a great meeting place...

So here are the motorcycle rest stops (called Relais Calmos Motards) for the 24 hours of Le Mans

motorcycle race held 19-20 April.

NOTE: The number in brackets in the title is the Department number (province number). Click on the blue globe for a zoomable map.

WARNING: There will be a lot of Police speed radars installed along the major roads there. Sunday, the mobile Police force will be out in massive numbers, so watch your speed!

Charente (16)

Getting There: On the RN10 road, rest area called Aire du Maine de Boixe, 25 km North of Angouleme.

Open: Go there: Thursday 10:00 to 22:00. Friday 09:00 to 22:00. Saturday 07:00 to 12:00.
Leaving: Sunday 14:00 to Monday 16:00

Eure (27)

Getting There: Take the RD 438 - then the Route de Gace (D6138)- at Broglie (27270).
