Here's an interesting gadget (as found on Engadget) for motorcycles; the helmet cam from JonesCam. This nifty small camera is mounted on your helmet with a special velcro strap, and when you ride your motorcycle on those mountains trails, or just decide to blast away on the highway, you can immortalize your run using any of the compatible video-recorders.
The idea is not novel, often many bikers have tried tying their video-cameras onto their motorcycles, but vibrations often play havoc with the image. Strapping your camera on your helmet is not easy, and often dangerous.
This system (used by several police forces) has a small and lightweight camera that is strapped to your helmet.
Price US$ 275 to 325.
Might be interesting for me when I go to Morocco in January next year to play in the big sandbox they call the Sahara.
