BMW , despite what you may think, do advertise. Usually their ads are pretty tame; more functional then inspired, but they do have some really good ones. But many are high-brow affairs, meant for intellectuals, thereby ruling me out. Here are 35 ads I've found on the web from around the world that advertise BMW motorcycles. Brazil Done by Bullet, Brazil in March 2008 Made by Giovanni, Brazil in 2006 for the K1200S. From the same company, but ran in 2005... someone explain the next one to me.. These are billboards for BMW motorcycles made by the same company: In 2004 these strange ones: This one reads "The last time you had fun like a kid, were you still a kid?" "That's the damn model who took the picture and ran away with the bike" These are for the R1200C Cruiser: The Netherlands Made by 180 Amsterdam, the ad ran in 2008. To tell you the truth, this one escapes me.... By JWT/PPGH Group, for the K1200R - No Mercy. Ad ran in 2005. Puerto Rico Produced by the Y&R Puerto Rico agency, this series ran in 2008. Italy Designed by D'Adda Lorenzini Vigorelli BBDO Italy in 2005 The slogan reads "Curve hunting is on again": and in 2004 for the Rockster: and for the R1200GS - "New BMW R1200GS You'll drive it like a bike": For the F650CS Scarver: "A BMW Motorbiker has never been so at arm's length": And this ad is for second hand BMW motorcycles, representing a motorcycle image in braille.. in 2001 they produced this: the slogan reads "BMW presents three new models. Will you be able to resist until March the 10th?". and they did this great one "BMW C1. The only one you can ride without a helmet": USA By Merkley Newman Harty Partners way back in 2003 Belgium Made by GV Company in 2002 The line reads "Every BMW tells where it has been". .. and "The first German bike that's low enough for the Japanese to sit on":
