Like any self respecting motorcycle manufacturer, Russian Ural is throwing a bash for all its loyal, often fanatical, fans. This is the third time they throw a biker bash in Europe. Between the 10th and 12th of September, in the castle of Piberstein in Ahorn, Austria. This castle, built around the year 1200, will be the central area for the bash. Around the castle are plenty of meadows where you can pitch your tent. If your bones can't stand the long ride over AND camping, then there are hotel rooms available in the area. Meals are served in the castle, all charged at a reasonable price. During the 3 days, there are several things planned, like a rally (including a medical check for all participants...) and live music. The music is performed by the Austrian Stelzhamma group, a funky alpine style group. The senior management, including the CEO, of Ural will be present for you to talk to. The fee is anything but high. It'll cost you €5 per person to participate, while the campground will be charged at €5 per person, per night. Sounds like fun. Click here to read more about it .
