Rat motorcycles, or rat bikes as they are know, have been around since motorcycles started roaming the earth. According to the Wikipedia, a rat bike is "The concept of keeping a motorcycle in at least minimally operational condition without consideration for appearance has probably characterized motorcycle ownership since its earliest days". The definition is a bit fuzzy, and often a motorcycle that could be described as a rat bike, is actually categorized as a "Survival Bike". Either way, below you'll find 51 Rat Motorcycles, or Rat Bikes... Rat bikes aren't limited to one manufacturer, you'll find many brands below, if you can id them...
Note: Some of the motorcycles may be the same but from a different angle, but often it's impossible to tell the difference.

Probably the last photo should be of my own motorcycle, a BMW 1150GS, which is starting more and more to look like a rat bike... maybe one day..
