A Virtual Visit Of The Michelin Facilities - Very Nice

Many of you will never get the chance to visit the incredible Michelin museum. Michelin

have been manufacturing motorcycle tires since there were motorcycles, and they have a history to be proud off.

In the city of Clermont-Ferrand

, Michelin have had their headquarters since the beginning (1888). In fact, most of the city is Michelin. One of its biggest attractions is the impressive and very big museum. But as I said, not many people get the chance to see this museum, until now.

Michelin have created a very nice virtual visit

of the museum and facilities on the web. You can visit the museum by following the arrows, or clicking on the map. At each stage, clicking your mouse and keeping it clicked, you move your mouse 360° to see more of that part of the museum. Up, down, left, right.. your choice.

Many of the exhibits have information, click on the blue "i". Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any text in English, either something I missed, or a big blooper from Michelin. But even in French, the museum is something to be seen.
