As motorcycle riders we hate people texting or using their mobile phones while they are driving their cages. Texting has over the years become a major menace to us, but social media is outstripping SMS sending on the move. "Checking In" has become a big social thing...

Many people on Facebook or FourSquare use their mobile smartphone to show their "friends" where they are, often with disastrous consequences for the poor motorcycle rider who happens to be riding next to the car.
