On one side the French government does everything in its power to stop us from riding our motorcycles, but on the other hand, they do come out with some very good safety advertisement campaigns. You'd almost think they care....
Here's a nice ad they published a year or so ago. On the helmet you see several Post-It notes of things to watch out for or to remember (tire pressure, lights on, boots, indicators, mirrors, pedestrian, ice, helmet attached properly, gravel, sufficient distance behind car, wind, gloves, speed, rain, car door opening, oil on the road, .... etc)
The text reads "On two wheels, let's be twice as alert".
