Trouble Ahead sign
I had removed the right most column ads after the ad supplier posted ads with malware in them. Since I couldn't trust the provider anymore, and since I wanted to see if donations could make the difference, I remove the ads on the right and replaced it with a "Donate" button.

So far, one person donated (thanks a million Frederick M., I really appreciate it), so not even close to the loss of ad revenue used to pay hosting, computers, etc.

So for the time being I've put Google ads instead (the donate button is still there, but lower). At least Google ads are not "flashy" and at times I find them interesting since they are content related. I also have much more control over what gets shown.

For those of you who say "damn the ads, I'll never click on them", just bear in mind that I get revenue even when you don't click, just for displaying them. Granted, I don't get as much, but each time a page is displayed I get a few micro cents....and each cent helps towards paying to keep this site running.

So sorry to disappoint those who don't want ads, they're back.

Now I hope Google ads don't start running malware either...Throw Computer Smiley
