The manufacturer of add-on saddle cushions, Airhawk , have redesigned their popular "air" seats to accommodate riders with Prostatitis or any general discomfort in the sacrum or coccyx. Sitting on your motorcycle for hours on end can be problematic to many. Stock seats from the motorcycle manufacturers are rarely comfortable, unless you ride something like the Honda Gold Wing. Some seats are just made out of concrete . The new Airhawk-R, using their same pressure redistribution air cells as their popular previous models, added a new air cell design to address specific pressure issues. Now, hopefully you (especially me) will be able to ride for more hours without the need to stop and let your rear end take a breather. The new seat has 3 points strategically placed with no contact that runs throughout the cushion front. Covered (or in real terms, not covered) are the tailbone, prostate and scrotum. “We designed the AIRHAWK R to address all of the issues that our customers have pointed out to us over the years," Steve Peyton, Director of AIRHAWK Sales, said. "The new cell design eliminates contact with the tailbone, prostate and the scrotum area." In other words, your butt will be hanging in the air...
