The Solex  has been with us for as long as I can remember. The ideal short distance PTWPowered Two Wheel - motorcyles, scooters, mopeds, you could get a great mileage out of them, as long as you peddled along.
After the factory stopped making the Solex (though some knock-offs are still be produced), an electric version was introduced:
But apart from gasoline, and electric powered Solex, there's also this:
It's a Butane gas powered model. It's not a factory fitted, more a home-grown solution, and I shudder to think what would happen in case of an accident, but it should work.
