In Queensland, Australia , the local authorities have taken upon themselves to reduce motorcycle fatalities, and one of the best way of doing this, is by educating the riders, not by repression. They have made a web site that is full of useful information, even for a veteran rider. Using Adobe Flash, they have several interactive illustrations of proper safe motorcycle riding techniques and a good equipment list that every biker should have, with a detailed explanation for each item. The site is a treasure trove of information, like check lists, training, a quiz and safe riding tips. They have an interesting safety video, with some nice motorcycle stunt action (unless it's CGIComputer-generated imagery is the application of the field of computer graphics or, more specifically, 3D computer graphics to special effects in films, television programs, commercials, simulators and simulation generally, and printed media. Video games usually use real-time computer graphics (rarely referred to as CGI), but may also include pre-rendered "cut scenes" and intro movies that would be typical CGI applications. These are sometimes referred to as FMV (Full motion video). CGI is used for visual effects because computer generated effects are more controllable than other more physically based processes, such as constructing miniatures for effects shots or hiring extras for crowd scenes, and because it allows the creation of images that would not be feasible using any other technology. It can also allow a single artist to produce content without the use of actors, expensive set pieces, or props., something you never know nowadays). Check it out below.
