 Things are moving on and up in Australia. Sales of motorcycles and scooters during 2011 were on the rise, notably 3%. A total of 109,067 new motorcycles, scooters and ATVs were delivered during 2011 to their happy owners. The top selling brands Down Under were: 1. Honda, +4.1% 2. Yamaha, -1.7% 3. Suzuki, -7.3% 4. Kawasaki, +3.2% 5. Harley-Davidson, +5.8% Husqvarna had the most noticeable jump for the motorcycle category, up 19.6%, this while they are down 23% in worldwide sales (while their parent company, BMW,had an increase of 6.4% worldwide, but they don't even show in the Top 10 of Australia, go and figure that one out). The most popular motorcycle model was Honda's CRF50F, followed by the Honda CT110.
